Type: Solid-Body. Made in USA. Model produced from 1954. Stratocaster shape. The scale is 25 1/2" (648mm).

Head
Tuning machines: 6-on-a-side Nickel plated Kluson tuners.

Neck
4-screw bolt-on. Bolt-On. 21 frets. The neck is made of Maple. The fingerboard is made of Maple. The fingerboard is inlaid. (black dots).

Body
Body is made of Ash. This model has a pickguard. (single-ply, white).

Electronics
Configuration: SSS. Volume controls: 1. Tone controls: 2. There is a pick-up selector. The pick-up selector has 3 positions.

Hardware
Nickel. This guitar has a one-piece bridge/stop. Bridge: strings thru bridge. This model has a tremolo.

Notes

From 1954 to 1958, some models come with aluminium pickguards.
1956: Gold hardware becomes an option. Alder replaces Ash. Ash used only on custom colours and Blonde finish.
